title: mentoring camp.

heyhey! juz came back from my 2 day mentoring camp. well its not overnite but i was too tired yesterday to do anything. +_+

anyways, i was kindda reluctant to go fer the camp yesterday. i was tinking... 7.30 to 5! wtf! so damn bloody long lar. n YOU teachers expect all of the mentors n facilitators to be focusing our attention on these children fer tt long?! i was like OMG! erm nvm. i asked few of my other frens...tt's wad they thot too. mind you, its not JUZ ME. hahaz.

anw. i'll start off wif a brief intro abt the camp. well. its basically called the fun n enrichment camp, planned by the mentors fer the SAJS kids from primary 4 to primary 6. apart from planning fer the programmes, there are other aspects of the camp tt has to be planned. such as the food, games, enrichment, station games, first aid, prizes...yea...tt shld be all. anw. i m in the food com. n i have to go help out b4 and after meals, m oso a mentor IC fer GROUP 4 AND a station master for 2dae's enrichment station games.

group 4 comprises of 6 very cute and energetic mentees, 4 caring and kind facilitators, and 3 extremely responsible and dependable mentors (including yours truly) hahaz...damn thick skin, paiseh paiseh. mentees: benjamin koh, marcus seah, daryl ang, edmund ang, pradeep and wei lie. facilitators: samantha, kate, daryl tay and raguraman. mentors: seow wei, jasmine and mi lor.

hahaz...all my mentees veri cute de. esp. the benjamin. hyper active fellow and can run non stop de...full of energy. he's always like up to mischief (e.g. trying to escape from mentors and facilitators, running some where to play wif other mentees...etc.) but he's damn cute lar. he's one of my favourite mentees...hahaz...another favourite is marcus. tis one grow up confirm alot of girls like de. cuz got the looks lar. even some mentors and facilitators kip toking to him. haiz...n hu sae girls aint attracted to looks? marcus also damn guai lar...everytime tok to mi (actually all oso tok to mi one lar) and yesterday i promised him and daryl an ipod each if they cheer. hahaz...in the end i nvr kip my promise. oh daryl ang is a short short guy. but he's veri cute n intelligent oso lar. hahaz...then daryl tay kip disturbing him sae he's his gf then tis daryl ang will get angry and kick him. lolx.

oh! cannot 4get abt wei lie. he's like WL look alike lar. lolx. they both realli look damn alike...mebe abt 70% to 80%. he's quiet yesterday but we managed to get him more hyped up anyway. =)

pradeep is the onli non chinese in my grp. but he's nice too. but every time like to punch mi duno fer wad. (wtf!)

lastly is the onli p6 going to sec 1 SAS boy called edmund. he nice oso lar. but like to tell everyone alot of porn stuff, then tok to us abt dick lar...pussy lar...sex lar, masturbation lar...wtf lar...lolx. but damn farni lar.

oh...hahaz...then i find one of the facilitators, samantha quite cute lehz. duno leh...WL kip saying my taste fer girls is unique so duno whether she realli cute anot. hehe...but glad to noe her lohz.

tis camp started out wif mi trying to break the ice between the facilitators n mentors...but it obviously failed lor...cuz i m those quiet type. then when the kids came, we managed to bond well wif the kids. brought them through station games, led them in cheers where they were initially uninterested in. gradually we managed to get them interested in the cheers. (the truth is they were motivated by the prize...lolx) seen them grow from scattered sand to a bunch of realli closely-knitted group. see-ing them grow...is indeed a pleasure and a joy. but seriously...my SAJC orientation OG 17 ba-kwa cheer realli work wonders. it has survived mi thru firstly the orientation in the beginning of tis yr, then the mentoring bonding camp in june, and now the fun n enrichment camp in nov. its great to know tt the kids luv tis cheer and i m proud to spread it around.hu knows,one day tis cheer might become extremely popular at camps? lolx.

i realli enjoyed tis 2 days veri much. thank you group 4 fer giving mi such a wonderful camp experience. thank you!
